Position Overview:

The Director of Operations will oversee daily operations and ensure that the mission is met effectively by managing programs, budgets, staff, compliance, and resources, bridging strategy with execution to support program delivery and organizational goals. The Director will act as a key link between leadership, staff, volunteers, and external partners. Their role balances high-level strategic planning with hands-on management, focusing on process improvement, resource optimization, and fiscal stewardship to achieve sustainable impact. Work is assigned and supervised by the Executive Director of Saul’s Light Foundation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

● Overseeing daily operations

● Ensuring that all tasks align with the organization’s mission.

● Managing staff and volunteers

● Recruiting, training, and supervising all team members.

● Program development and evaluation

● Designing impactful programs and measuring their success.

● Compliance and risk management

● Understanding legal requirements and implementing safety measures.

● Communication and community engagement

● Building relationships with stakeholders and promoting the nonprofit’s mission

● Representing Saul’s Light at community events

● Financial management

● Budgeting, financial planning, and fundraising strategies.

Education

Required - Bachelor’s Degree (BA); Master's Degree (MA) in related field preferred

Work Experience

Proven experience (3+ years) in nonprofit administration or related field
